Best small Patio 2015

So we have managed to win Brett’s best small patio 2015 and we are so proud. The project was great to construct from start to finish and we are so proud to have been a part of it. I have included some images of the award winning patio, for you to look at. Here is to next years awards, I will keep you posted.

First Major Brett Patio

stylequartzite_burntglow 04

This beautiful Quartzite patio, surrounded by Brett walling, took us nearly three weeks to construct. The curved wall with built in seats and high pier capping makes for a useable and tranquil area. The centre piece was manufactured by us, on site and I think it adds a touch of elegance, to an amazing outside space. This photo is one of 12 we are entering into this years Brett awards.
Watch this space, as we will update how we got on later in February.

First Brett Approved Project

So we have just completed our first Brett Approved Landscaping job. Its only a small block paved drive, but we all have to start somewhere. More Brett jobs are in the pipeline, watch this space for further posts and pictures.

New courtyard patio area.

This is it, our latest creation. A lovely courtyard garden and patio area. We used Marshalls Tegula concentric rings. This ever increasing pattern gives the whole area a feeling of being bigger, and I have to say I rather like it.

Latest Patio Project

The Customer had a vision of Indian Sandstone Paving, with raised sleeper beds and Imbedded L.E.D lights in the paving perimeter. A new raise step was also required with new channel drainage to catch the surface water. This was the picture of the existing patio before work commenced.

New project underway

This is our new four week project well underway. It has been designed around the use of a wheelchair. Previously the garden was a large expanse of turf and not useable by a wheelchair. So we have included wide pathways to all the new areas, including a sensory garden, orchard, Japanese deck area and raised herb garden and rose bed.

Finished shot, latest project

This is the latest job completed by The Secret Garden. We have included a before and after shot to capture the transformation achieved. The slabs are Marshalls Fairstone Antique silver birch, with Marshalls Tegula Pennant grey paving around the perimeter.

Before shot , latest project

This photo shows the extent of transformation. The paving and grass areas were previously uneven and not great for walking on. We created the new paving all on one level and provided a small raised step up to the new turf to create vision of depth.
